Norman Heinrich
As Chief Underwriting Officer, Norman Heinrich is responsible for coordinating underwriting relationships between Tokio Marine Highland and Tokio Marine Kiln, and refining underwriting strategies and procedures to drive profitable growth and business expansion. He is also responsible for modeling and PML development of divisional exposures, capacity requirements, aggregate and compliance controls, and the effective use of underwriting data.
Norman has more than 35 years of experience in property and casualty sales, marketing and underwriting. He previously served as President of Tokio Marine Highland’s Private Flood Division, and has deep expertise in developing, administering and underwriting flood insurance programs for insurance companies, wholesalers and reinsurance partners.
Prior to joining Tokio Marine Highland, Norman was the Director of Marketing and Flood operations for Capital Assurance Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Skandia Companies. His responsibilities included the marketing and sales functions for the Property and Casualty units, and the marketing and underwriting functions for the Flood operations. The Flood operations included voluntary and NFIP flood programs.
Norman holds a degree in accounting from Florida International University and is a licensed property and casualty, and surplus lines insurance agent.
