Matt LoPiccolo

Matt LoPiccolo is Chief Growth Officer of Tokio Marine Highland. He leads the company’s growth initiatives across corporate development and M&A initiatives, distribution & broker engagement strategies, and strategic business development efforts.

Matt brings 30 years of property and casualty insurance industry experience with expertise in distribution strategy, underwriting collaboration, digital innovation, and portfolio growth. Before joining Tokio Marine Highland, he served as a Managing Director at Octave Partners, a division of Octave Specialty Group, where he worked with specialty insurance MGA startups and portfolio companies on growth strategy, acquisitions, business planning, and operational development. Previously, he held various senior distribution leadership roles at AXIS Capital and AIG. He began his career as an environmental insurance broker with Marsh & McLennan.

Matt has an M.B.A. in Finance and Management from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a B.A. from Hamilton College.
