As Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Josh Clifton is responsible for the development and execution of Tokio Marine Highland’s marketing strategy to enable profitable growth and position the company as the property and casualty underwriting agency of choice within its target markets. Josh is accountable for Tokio Marine Highland’s web and social media platforms, and driving public relations and communications strategies to advance the company’s brand in the marketplace and build a strong culture through increased employee engagement.
Josh has nearly two decades of experience in leading communications, content development and digital marketing initiatives in the financial services, insurance and publishing industries. Prior to joining Tokio Marine Highland, he served as Communications Director of Content Strategy and Development for CNA. In this role, he managed a team responsible for communications for internal and external audiences, content marketing, graphic design, digital and print, video production, social media, and editorial and brand governance.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and political science from Indiana University.
